I know what you are thinking... why for the love of all that is holy do you co-sleep.... OR... Me too! It is such a divided topic and will spark debate until the end of time. This is just our story and is my opinion. Co-sleeping is definitely not for everyone but something to be considered in certain situations.
As a Mom, there are many balls that we juggle constantly. Kids, spouse, house, pets, work, and the list goes on and on. However, out of every habit you have, the absolute most important one you can do is to take care of yourself!
Eye Exams... no one really likes them but they are so important! As a new parent, I would have never known when was the right time. Maybe before kindergarten or only if she complained of eye issues. Explore when to get your childs first eye exam and how often to follow up.
Now, there are hundreds... maybe millions... of articles on the best products for a newborn. They can be outrageous or simple. There are many items that we bought before Scarlett was born that we simply did not use.
A few hours later, off we went back to the hospital. We get to the check in window and let them know our last name. That's when the lady says, "Are you sure you are in the right place?" We look at her completely confused and promptly ask where our baby is, if she is not where we left her.
I was running myself ragged between the fourth and fifth floors of the hospital. All I wanted to do was hold my baby, which I had not done since the pediatrician took her for her check the morning before.
